Good action in this mornings rain!

Had the day off today and the rain was not stopping me. Launched in completely flat waves in North County. Saw two groups of about 40-50 birds diving a good 3/4 mile out of the patties but I didn't have my iron and didn't feel like peddling that far haha. Went to my favorite reef and started casting. First cast and I got a fish, good sign. Turned out to be a steady picking of Calico hitting the Warbaits x MC viejo 5" combo. Ended with 12 fish all catch and release of course. Only had about 1 1/2 hours to fish before the wind realllly started blowing!

Reminds me of some extended lunch breaks I would take while stationed at Naval Air Station North Island.

Casey lets fish again! I'll hit you up next time I cruise out. Could be later this week, depends on how good the surf is.
