I like the comparison on the two measurements. My question is this, when dfg measures for legality do they do a flat tape measure or what? Congrats on the beautiful fish. Did you get a weight?

You can tell from the shots that the hali is super thick.
How thick was it? Based on the length and weight I'm guessing at least 5inches.

The DFW uses a board, so it will be flat, slid up mouth first and closed to a stop on the end.
I did not get a measurement of the thickness Jorge. It was the most difficult filet job I have had on the top side though. |
