LJ 8-16 PM

Launched a little before three.

Steady wind with plenty F you white caps, but sunny and warm.

Paddled north and searched for two pointers for nada.

Made a U turn at the GP and paddled toward the corner.

12" greenies chasing something smaller and driving the birds crazy.

Made a few pieces of bait at the kelps edge and worked my way outside.

Caught a few calicos.

The bird activity really picked up.......... all around the area. Mostly barries.

Ran into Dave Easton and later Mike Knott.

Dave paddled in and Mike and I gave the fish every opportunity to bite.

Landed at 9:30 with nothing.

Very nice evening on the water.

It was still breezy.

Man, Ken, you and I seem to be cursed lately. Sorry to hear the PM's are as bad for you and Co. as the AMs have been for me. Got on some boilers today but all I got was bumped on the iron three times. Ugh. Kind of miss the sunsets, but the calm of morning is kind of nice. Strangely enough, no bait at the pier this morning. Perhaps the YT chased it off.

I figured out I like the PM not catching fish trip better than the AM not catching fish trip because I can drink beer in the PM but not in the AM
because I heve to go to work :?

Why let work stop you from having the breakfast of champions? I drink beer regardless (though definitely less in the AM because I start with coffee) .

Yeah, I hate it when I lose a "shark". Hope you get some "sharks" at the paddies tomorrow.
