Malibu eXtreme bait tank

This is the molded plastic bait tank that fits in the rear hatch opening of the Malibu eXtreme. It comes without the pump kit, which can be obtained at OEX. I have never used it, and don't plan to, so it's for sale. $40 obo. PM if interested.

The picture is an example and is not the actual tank. Mine is exactly the same, except black in color.

Bait tank

Will it fit an X Factor rear hatch?

Does it have to fit in the rear? can it fit in the front? Is it possible to do an in-hull pump to the tank? I think that would be neat...then I could have like a little table top in my lap to eat and stuff. Seems like the weight would then be balanced in the middle also, and I can get my bait a lot easier that way. Let me know.

Johnny, no it will not fit the X-Factor. They make a different tank for that one.

Grego, I will have to check and see if the front hatch is deep enough for the tank to slide down all the way into it. I think you would have a problem though, with nowhere comfortable for your legs to sit.

Not to mention, throw off your surf-landing steeze.

You're right, forgot about that...and the depth also...had visions of the one like I had for my tandem, but that one was way too big. Although this would be for my cousin's xtreme so who cares (j/k)

eXtreme Bait Tank

Corey -
I'm interested... would it fit the newer eXtreme hull with the three channels running lengthwise (max depth 9 1/4" from top of channel to top of hatch ring)?
Thanx-

Sale is pending...

mrJB, I'm not sure about that. If the sale falls through, I will check and get back with you. Thanks.
