Japan is truly loaded with fish. Envious! I don't think leashing your rods is a big deal. You'll be really glad you did when it saves you that $1000 set-up.

Normally though I don't like bothering with the leashes. I dont surf launch so much lower risk of capsizing.

Dude, pretty impressive gaff work with the tuna! Also noticed you didn't crack a smile until the tuna was in your lap. I think I would have been ear-to-ear after that wahoo.

Awesome catches, Congrats ! Being how much the Japanese love fish, I would have thought that their waters are fished pretty hard/picked clean -- surprised to see big catches like that right off the coast near a major population...and you caught them on rapalas....not even live bait....outstanding !
