Shark that got away

That was freaking awsome. That little redfish, I think, never had a chance. Thats the crazy thing about the gulf and east coast, they have real sharks right inshore, in the bays, and up the rivers. Pretty sure that was a bull shark too. When I lived in N. Carolina I hooked a 6 foot black tip right out side the surf in front of a beach with hundreds of swimmers. Mike

Looks like a Black Drum, and a Bullshark. We used to get early season Bulls sometimes when they'd come in following Spawning Drum. Break out the 12/0 and some drum heads and bait that sucker. It's definitely going to stick around.
