HH after work and the Mark 4

Worked hard all Memorial Weekend, needed to get on the water. Called my wife at 5 and said I'd be home around 9. Ran across the street and bought an overpriced cigar and headed to the other end of the harbor after closing up at 6pm. 10-15 kts made short work of my stogie. Managed a sandie, calico and some spotties all on the blade. Lots of thumps on the blade and not the hook. Tried the Mark 4 out and am REALLY impressed with it. It is alot of fish finder for the money.

It's like a color fish finder (LCD) with grey scale. I am impressed. Small screen but crisp resolution. I had the trans in the water and on auto sensitive had tons of clutter, manual at 50 % worked very well in 5-15 feet of water.

Never tried using that type of lure in Salt before, only fresh. Looks like they work! Nice one!

Ed

Cannon Elph 300, just bought my wife one at Best Buy for about $150, came with a 4g card, battery pack, charger and case.

Yani, Memorial Day was the busiest day I have had for rentals in 5 years....line out the door. Seinfeld party of 4 not complaining.

Andy, I have a mark 4 wet mounted and in bays and harbors it gets mad clutter too but on open water it's great. I never turned down the sensitivity that low in shallow water thanks for the heads up

Do you keep the blade near bottom or ? I've caught one NICE spotty on a blade, casted toward dock keeping it a couple feet below surface but I feel like I just got lucky.. Teach me your blade ways
