Mission Bay 4/11

Yesterday decided to try Mission Bay for the first time now that I have the bait tank on my Stealth 12 installed. Started in sail bay and made my way down to quiviera and got some nice large sardines to try for my first Hali. It took a while to get a good drift over non eelgrass covered water but finnally got a good drift going. I managed one two and a half pound spottie and one raked bait. It was a beautifull day on the bay nonetheless. What was interesting is that my bites came the instant some guys started up on of those water jet packs. As soon as they went up my rod tip[ went down. Makes me wonder if they were looking at the bait and decided to grab and run when their pumps started. All in all a fun day on the water .
