Rockfish Opener

It was a beautiful morning...a little cloudy and and a little windy at 9am but it mellowed out and the fish bit...I was at about 270' for most of my drifts but I went a little deeper a few times for nada.
First drop was a double on the AHI Squirts with some squid strips and 5 ounces of lead.

They bit well for the first hour or so then they got lockjaw...came home with 7 nice ones and threw back a bunch of little guys...
I was in by noon, so it was a quick morning...

We had Panko fried rockfish with some Mango Avacado Salsa for dinner...those Reds are sooooo good...I've got to get out again on Monday before the Fred Hall Show if the weather allows...!
