I like the rapala hard baits about 6-7 inches long. Troll them around or over the kelp.

You can never go wrong with war baits. The variety of fish you can hook up to is insane.

I like hardbaits as well, but I am mostly a cast and retrieve kind of guy. The plastics give you a little more versatility.

Two live squid on a dropper loop rig dropped right on top of a big rock...hahaha!!!!
