Yeah....don't worry, I got something for your new yak alright WTF, you live in Chino Hills now? Welcome back to the scene, and get your ass to the MLPA meetings. And by the way...the days of posting "I'm in" are long gone. Things have kind of technologically improved so you gotta register yourself these days grandpa...look for the link.

We're up to 43. Come on folks, between big fish hunters, calico bassers and spearos 100 should be no sweat.

I'm sure I'm not alone when it's "obvious to me" I wouldn't miss this "tournament/fundraiser really" for the world. Some guys (like me) just aren't good at pre-registering and always do things the last minute, but you can count on us in the end. I would like to pre-apolagize for my bad habit of always doing this, though.

And only 100? With bass anglers and a spearo division too I would hope for more than twice that. Reguardless of pre-registered, already done with Christmas shopping entrants...lazy folk' speak up!

I am glad that you will be joining us Josh. One of the reasons we need people to sign up in advance is so we can tell the folks at Chipotle how many mouths there will be to feed. Also, some of our donors plan to provide cool stuff for most of the people at the event. We need to be able to tell them how many that will be.

So Josh, what will it take to get you to sign on the dotted line. What if we make a special "Pro" division for people who spend more time on the water in a month than most of us do in a year. A couple of the big names are in but we are still waiting to hear from some of the other local legends. You guys know who you are so get off your duff and sign up.

Remember, although this is a fishing tournament, the opportunity to catch a few fish is not the most important thing that will be happening on the 27th. Every dollar we raise will help fund the fight to save coastal fishing access for all of us. The day's events will also provide an opportunity for many of us to learn more about this issue and bond with others who support this cause.

We want at least 100 boats on the water for this event. If you have not signed up. Do it now.

Bob

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to celebrate La Jolla while raising cash to preserve our low-impact kayak and spear fish access across Southern California.

People are giving generously of their time and donations for the cause.
We're still looking for more, so if you have a new or gently used product that is just collecting dust but someone else might treasure, please bring it for our benefit raffle and silent auction.

This is all about the cause, this is a party for everyone in the greater California kayak and spear fishing communities. Businesses from every sector of the sport are chipping in. This isn't a Plastic Navy tournament, nor a BWE event, or a Baytubers throw-down, or a DPKFM get-together... It is all of them and more. If you aren't already on this list, please join us.

Sign up here: http://www.diamond-safety.com/signup-form.htm

No payment necessary until tourney day - just bring your low $30 entry fee and donation to the sign-in and go get 'em.

The Loco Pescadores are going to make a donation to the tournament...Some lucky or unlucky person will be going home with a brand spanking new IPod Shuffle. Anyone in the tourney can win this.
Much love from the LP.

Grego will call the winner at the bbq after.

Never fished there but I'm in

I've taken the easy way out to the water via Baby Beach in Dana and from what I read L J is a surf launch, so if you guys don't laugh too much as I flip going out of LJ; I'm in.

I might try a trip there before since this is new in my kayak evolution.

I know how hard it is to fight these guys because we do the same thing with our mountain bike club (warriors society) keeping the trials open to all users. My brother started our club many years ago and I can tell you, we are hated by the greenies.

Anyway, I guess it's OK to laugh, just don't let me drown

I'm off to register and clear my calender for the next meeting, thanks for all you do.

Can we use GULP!

I'll see if Sherm wants in on this too.

You guys do know that there is a Bloodydecks Yellowtail Tourney going on that same day...........may be a bit "crowded" out there.

No worries!
We are going to have a couple folks on the beach helping people launch & get out safely through the surf.
If ANYONE is unsure about launching in the surf PLEASE let them know when you sign in so that we can assist and help you get launched safely. We are here to help!
