7/27 Offshore - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Back at it again for nothing. Well, not nothing, just no tuna or exotics. Fished with some great new folks. Porpoise all over, turns and guls too........no fish. Only radio chatter was us or stories of it being a ghost town. Little traffic out there.

Total different story from Sat.

Small stringer early in the day had a toad yellow under it. Spit my spanish on the surface three times and would not take.

Grabbed a #20 or just over consolation prize before hitting the beach.

So spoiled. Anyone aside from a jaded LJ local would consider a yt as "exotic".

Good try. Someones number will come up soon. I think being in the zone in the pm right now would be advantageous but thats when the sea gets shitty.

I think was a few hundred yards behind you guys. I turned around at 5mi but looked like you guys just kept going. Hooked 2 got 1 yellow when I got back in as well.

Brian..nice fishing with you..way to go on the YT redemption.I got a little south on the way in and caught a a just short WSB..ironically right where we were making bait 14 or so miles earlier in the day. Til next time!!
