F'n Weathermen

Had no plans to fish today since all the weather forecasts were for strong winds and early rain. So, when I woke up to calm wind and bluebird skies I was a bit miffed. Dropped the kids off at school and made the call to try and get a few hours in at DP. Met Mark and Karen from Hook1 around 9:00 and headed out. The winds had picked up by now so we decided to work the harbor. Good call as we picked up some fish here and there. I ended the day with this gal. She taped out at 33" and and estimated 12 to 15 pounds.

Back out again tomorrow.

Damn Mr. Pliska.....you sure have the halibut thing figured out for DP!! Once again awesome fish!!!

I got to get up there again, I have only fished it once with my buddy Mike who just moved up there and I got some macks and some bigger hits but nothing like what you have going!!! Truly some great fishing up there!!!

Wow!

Dave , If you ever decide to run a flattie clinic, sign me up! I've always appreciated your ability with halibut, but this winter I think you've really moved up to a new level! Great job! Jerry/Piranha
