Dumb and Dumber

Went to Dana for a couple hours this morning. Dumb bit a horse-dine right at high tide, Dumber bit about 2 minutes after that, about 5 feet from where I caught Dumb. I also found their mom, a nice 20lb class fish. Had her to the yak twice, but she freaked out and pulled the hook before I could even think about getting the gaff. Also C&R’d one small WSB that was 28” on the button. Fun day.

Nice fish man! And just in a couple hours those things are pretty big. Game clips are pretty sick too.

I like the indentations on the "dumb" ones head... Gotta love when they go ballastic especially on a kayak

Nice haul, sounds like a productive day on the water.

Thanks for the report and the inspiration. I've been skunked for the past 6 weeks at Dana and was thinking the hali had moved out. Need to get some lucky bait and head on out again! Nice catch!
