Can we enter both?

Do big fish points count for the angler of the year total?

No and No.

Big fish division is a stand alone event that doesn't have a points system to contribute to the trail. We have a no live bait rule for the bass events which makes rule enforcement hard if an anlger is in two divisions at once. After all, catching fish with live bait is easy.

I've never been able to figure that out. Most bass fisherman use lures and/or goop that they will tell you, often at length, is "deadly" on this or that poor little fish. Processed sea urchin is cool, but live bait, now that's cheating.
