Based on my experience and what I hear....this trip, dare I say, is false advertisement.

Should be called a catalina trip with a goal to get to SCI if winds permit.

Would love to hear how they made out on that trip. It's been a bucket-list item for a bit, but the more I hear about it, the more it seems like a pipe dream. Been to SCI about 7-8 times this year so far on the boat and of those times, only 1 or 2 of them seemed like conditions would be decent on a kayak. S wind has been an issue on both sides of the islands the past few times I've been. But the fishing has been getting better and better

These trips have always been to San Clemente, not a false ad, just a change for this trip. I would also like to hear how the trip went. That being said, I would be interested in a kayak mothership trip to Catalina, assuming they can handle PA's again.
