Launched at about 6:30 to easy surf. Bait was visible all over the place but would not bite the sabiki stuck right in their face. Decided to go with my trusty Kroc and proceeded to catch 2 bonies, 2 calicos and one lingcod (my first one ever). It was about 28 inches long and put up a nice fight on my light spinning gear with 12 lb test. Having a lip gripper sure helped me deal with the nasty teeth. All fish were released. Fish were caught in about 110 feet of water a little south of the highrise.
