Today was a 20th wedding Anniversary. Time flies. But had to be quick. at the red bouy with a few big macs by 630. Off to open deeper water. Straight out from the headlands . Ran into a pod of feeding dolphins and believe I hooked one. Reel screaming and line peeling towards the direction of the pod. Line broke at the knot or at braid.

Last year this time I ran into a hammer head. Did it again, he found me. Go figure... they are still out there. No hassles, shark split and did not stick around.

On a safety side... watch the boaters. Full of traffic. A sailboat about ran me down. As I reeled my lines in lady was shocked I was off the the side as she passed. Never saw me. Both boaters were doing other things on deck and weren't paying attention. Boat just cruising right at me. Unnerving cause I was thinking they see me but fact is they didn't.

Off the water by 1030 am.

Water posting 78 and 79 temps. Swells were evident and wind was minimal in the am.
