La Jolla Wed 5/25 nada

Water looked nice, macs were easy to get. Headed out at a comfortable 7:00ish and there were some medium waves to deal with, but no worries. It looked great. A couple weeks ago there was bait boiling everywhere, but not today.

Only saw a few kayaks and a couple powerboats.... probably every PB went to Coronados. I'll do that tomorrow I guess. Someone need a lift for Friday morning, pm me. I have an 18.5 foot Sea Pro .

Anyway, Wed was nada for me. Spoke to one other yakker, and absolutely nothing for him as well. I had high hopes, with pretty much empty LJ, but no sushi last night.

Nada for me, too. All quiet out there.

Got more spaniards for bait this time. Up until now this year it has been almost all greenbacks for me.

it might have been me you spoke with ........cuz i didn't get shizzle. green backs were hard to come by until i remebered the wise word of the guhorse about what they looked like on the sonar, even after they were hard to spot. windy, rolling swells no life...weird. no luck if you weren't going for the rock fish.
