Yellowtail with my son, Special Consideration still proceeding

Dad's Yellowtail 002.JPGModerator, I see my WSB listed as a qualified June submission but not my 20 pound Yellowtail with my son on-board. The on the water picture is on the Fishing Reports forum and with the 36" length verified on the WCW forum the weight is obviously not stretched. I was able to finally pull the scale shot off our new camera which was not showing up with the data disk inserted. The few pics the camera was able to store without the data disk were only acceassible after we realized we needed to take out the disk. As the tape and OTW shot was submitted before the deadline I hope you can give me a bit of a break this time.

Thank you, Kurtfish

I answered my own question

Upon review of the q&A i see that only one fish per month counts toward leader board. My credited 39# WSB is worth more than the 20# YT. Makes sense with current regs. I like the quality over quantity focus but it seems to me that biggest fish for each of three species should earn credit for each month. Maybe, a consideration for next year.

Thank you, Kurtfish

Ditto Kurt, one per month.

That tail with your boy is a prize for itself. Your kiddo got to live through such a cool thrill that young. He's got to be hooked
