Tony did not pull any punches, he would tell you how it is, but such a truly good dude, saddened by his passing and will surely miss him!

Tony was a big guy with an even bigger heart. He was a supporter of many causes and took care of his family and friends. Always loved his sense of humor. Tony didn't mess around when it came to fishing and never half assed anything. I'll miss you Tony, may you and your father rest in peace.

Saw Tony at several of the local tournaments but met him one day while floating around with the malibu crew.. We where down in Pedro, and ran into him at Busy Bee's after a decent day pulling rock fish from the wall..
All sentiments are true to word.. Never had a chance to get to know him but all the friends held him in high regard.. A little rough around the edges at first but hey.. Dope aint free a man with his knowledge is so sad to think about loosing.. May his family somehow heal from this Fair winds and following seas brother

I had met him in different events.
At the Redondo white seabass grow out pens. As the Turks would say, “may he rest in light”. |

How is it that two (Bob, and now Tony) of the top 4 contributors to the BWE forum are now deceased? Looking back at Tony’s posts, they were awesome! Many catches set a high bar for inspiration. On top of that, Tony’s youtube channel shared glimpses of the many BWE characters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RR0O...ku5lBTsQf_ww9_ Thank you Tony -- Perhaps I won’t feel like a total stranger when I finally make it back to kayak fish SoCal? Condolences to his friends and prayers for Tony, his father and the surviving family. May Tony RIP and always enjoy a ful-rac. |
