New PB for the little guy!

I had a friend that has been begging to go out for some time now, so we made it happen today. Unfortunate, but fortunate my wife reminded me this morning that she had to work all day. So this meant I had the little guy. Only downer is it limited our fishing time. We got a super later start and fished through the 15/20mph winds today. Fished for about an hour or so and managed 5-6 fish. My son caught the biggest measuring in at 21" guessing a good 4-4.25# strong sandie. Everything was caught on 5.5" swimbaits. The sandies are still hanging out for the time being.

Right as I was about to snap the photo a wave hit us and my son got stuck with by the side fin. He went from smiles to a sad face so fast. He told me he didn't want to catch anymore big fish, only the little polka dot bass!

Jeff, he will remember the fish a lot longer than being stuck. Great job from both of you.

1.5oz big hammer heads and/ or 1oz-1.5oz Phenix heads due to the bigger hook.

For his size, that spottie looks huge. He'll remember the "big fish" long after he forgets getting stung. Congrats Jeff, I'm sure you won't forget the cool memory of seeing your son catch that fish and his smile.

1 fish caught by your kid = 180 fish caught by you.

Jeff,

Looks like you two had a great time. How did you work out the seating with both of you on the Outback?
