What size/color Flat-Fall and Colt Snipers do you use?

I'm looking to branch out from only throwing Salas and Tadys. Where should I start?

Thanks

I love the blue sardine and phantom squid flat falls. Haven’t used coltsnipers much.

I had my first real great experience with them on the islander trip last month just dropping down in the kelp and thumbing the spool frequently. Got lit up by a few 3-5lb calicos.

coltsnipers Pink and blue/ blue and silver. 42g for shallow waters. Heavier for deeper/faster sink.

Weight on any jig is really depend on depth you are going to fish. I use the lightest jig that will get me down to the bottom without too much angle in my line.

Shimano Flat Fall in Glow (chartreuse / white). The size or weight I should say, is up to you. I tend to use 160 grams out in deeper or more open water and 100 or 130 grams when closer to or in a kelp area. I also have the other colors, but they just haven't produced the same.

I have had good luck on the anchovy (Black and chrome). Worked for yellowtail, yellow fin and smaller bluefin. Gets hit on the sink or retrieve.

Thanks for all of the replies! I'm starting to think it's more the fisherman and not the lure. Ha! Oh and time of the water helps. Tough to catch fish from my desk!
