Weather in La Jolla lately?

I was thinking about getting out there tomorrow but it's looking like 23kt winds and a 5ft swell...I'm hoping forecasts have been inaccurate lately.

How's it been out there?

La Jolla Weather, hmmm ... I thought it would be ok today ..............

I NEVER flip ........

Today I flipped going out, going out ??????????????????

Paddeled around for two hours with my wadders Full of water .... Froze my azz off today....

Went in and I flipped again, I never flip going in ?????????

Weird day .......

Now I at home drinking HOT chocolate in the Middle of August after a very hot shower !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went out to LJ thursday. It was pretty windy and the swell was up. I had to crash through several big waves going out. Swells were large. Slow day of yellowtail fishing. Didn't really try for bass or rockfish. Coming in I rode in on a huge wave. Felt like I was going 50 MPH.

I went Thursday after work. All the same yet even worse with afternoon winds. And once I got around the point it was real nasty...total dishwasher. I didn't flip but definitely put to use some surfing skills on the way in. Had to fight the nausea the whole time out. Drug macs all over for 2 rakes, a dolphin hooked, and extreme tiredness
