Brand new ones on sale cost less than 900...noticed some store in Oceanside has them Brand new for 899...maybe throw in a fish finder to sweeten the deal. Good luck with the sale

I never understand why people spell out their phone numbers sometimes? Maybe you can enlighten me on this. Just curious

Scammers especially on CL scan for phone numbers to sell, the programs they can easily recogonize digits but have trouble with letters and digits combined.
I doubt it's necessary on a forum such as BWE. Limited source material to scan for.

My buddy in Zaire is interested. He said he'll send a cashiers check and pay the shipping charge.

I will add a hummingbird fishfinder. It's a cheapo and works about 50% of the time. It has a short in the wire and is probably an easy fix.

I will also add a $25.00 net that I purchased a year ago at Big 5.

Will also throw in my homemade gaff and net I use for bait (also homemade) to reach the baittank.

The baittank that comes with the kayak is a plus. Don't know how much they go for...but- it's nice to have for sure.

Also included is a Carlise Carbon Fiber paddle that the guy who traded the kayak to me said they retail for $250 new. (how true that is ....I have no ideal, but it is a very nice paddle).

Like I said above, I'd rather keep the kayak than sell it for less than $900. Now I've sweetend the deal some more, so hopefully someone will buy it soon. I traded about $1,000 worth of guns for it- so I'm not willing to take a big loss on it. Still enjoy fishing, but I've recently got into Mountain Biking and could use some cash this Christmas.

Might also be for the prowler model. I haven't seen any new TRIDENT 15 models selling for that cheap. Last month a guy posted the exact same yak as mine in the same color for $825, but had way less of a package than I'm offering here.

They don't make these models anymore... here is what a new one would cost in the link below

So are you selling a Trident Ultra or a Prowler Trident?
That link is for an Ultra.

Yeah, after doing more research I guess you all are right. Here is a link http://www.shopping.com/Ocean-Kayak-...Kayak/products

to the brand new ones. I will take mine off the market and just keep it then, I would rather keep mine for what I bartered for it. Not worth taking the hit, and your probably right - people would probably prefer to buy a new one for peace of mind.

Sorry to say buy you already took the hit. Keeping it won't fix that, and selling it won't make it worse. So just do whatever you want with it and move on

Just FYI the Trident 15 is discontinued for 2014 so New isnt an option for a lot of people.
