Thanks guys! It was stacking up pretty heavy. Everyone who knew me would either text me randomly (frank) or see me on the water and say "So, did you get your yellow yet? As steveoo said "It's nice to get this monkey of my back"

Heres another picture.... except it looks like I didn't have to wait another year. Same fish? You decide....

way to get 'em! i hit my year mark in May, but only fished la jolla like 7 times.

btw, i see your bait making problem... your jig. get the one with 4-6 jigs on it.they're like $6 at sport authority. i've been next to guys using those single jigs and they might get a couple while i pull in 3-4 at a time. also add a small green glowstick to the top.

lol. different fish. first one has a notch in the dorsal, scar behind the pec fin and is about 8lbs lighter. plus different shirt and cloud cover.

Well I had a feeling you were after the horse sardines when you said it was hard to make bait, then saw the jig.... no wonder it was hard to catch them.

Hey hot stick, congratulations. Believe me, there are many others who have waited years to put the right kind in their kayak. You moved to CA and in one year already did what many others wish for. Nice job, and fish.
