DoDo @ the 182

Took the skiffs out to the 182/181 areas for some Dorado. Landed this guy on the MadMac, blind strike. Coming back in we saw quite a few paddies around the north 9 and a little further. Hundreds of dodo, but all lockjaw. Good luck, mahi are all over once you find the zone.

Good job catching some but damn, you went way too far out for those. They're around 8 miles west of MB jetty and near the 178 and low to chew jerkbaits.

We didn’t go to the 182 for dodo, they were a blessing on our return.

I tried stickbaits, no such luck. I guess they’re hitting smaller tubes.

When they have lockjaw....

Drop to 15lb and bass rod...
I let the other 2 mates go first for no luck...
I could only see 2 shiners from the bridge 25yds away and new what they were....

Yea didn’t have that small of a setup, was planning more on tuna, but will have 20lb Fluoro setup next time.

I’m also hearing guys we’re using smaller tubes baits and getting them, food for thought.

Nice Nick,

I am hoping to get my Solo out of Dana on Friday.

I have lots of little micro bait lures to try.

Fingers crossed.
