Asuncion with Makobob and Svendawg

Well the boys arrived last Sunday a bit earlier than I expected. 12 1/2 hr trip from Bob's place. It's really great time have them here for a few days. We have been hitting it pretty hard since they got here so I decided to take a shore day while Bob and Sven headed out again. Fishing has been great. We managed 12 yellows on Monday and 16 on Tuesday and 17 on Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday were down days with ony 4 eachday No rats but no real tankers either. Sven is persona non gratis with me at this point. He had spent the last couple weeks up at Mammoth Lakes and that can be the only reason that he decided to use some funky Kastmaster trout bait here on the big water, but before I could correct his choice of lures, he Jerks a WSB out of my water, on a Kastmaster. The rest of the village was quite impressed but I don't like him much any more.

Unable to upload pictures right now but will try later.

I think Sven could catch a WSB in a bucket, using a safety pin and sewing thread. Sounds like a great time had by all.

Any sign of tuna in your area yet?

Keep living the life.

Are you fishing San Roque mostly West of the island?

How big was that kastmaster?

Getting just a few Tuna in nets but still quite a ways off shore.

Mostly off Isla San Roque but 2 or 3 a day off the reef half way to the island.

Glad you three are having a great time at fishing

You should be doing even better in the coming weeks since the water temps will be rising.
The El Niño event should make you all look like fishing genius'.

P.S. Tomas should be re-roofing the house this week or next. The house being that close to the water, really reeks havoc on home maintenance.

Have a great time!

With no pictures it didn't happen.

If you zoom in on the mouth of the WSB you can see the Kastmaster
Kastmaster is the 1 oz model.
We had a great trip ever though Rossman kicked my ass on the YT count each day.
