Will work on getting "after" shots this weekend

Edit - put links in as the photos did not come up. Have not posted pix on BWE before. Where's the how-to?

Cool boats guys!

I like many here, was drawn to the water, both fresh and salt, from calm river rafting:

To something a bit more adventurous:

But for me, it all started with SCUBA diving.
Here is my favorite taco meat:

Not a ton of change on the exterior. Added the electronics box in the t-top, masthead and spreader lights fore & aft on the t-top

Moved VHF up top, added tunes and all fuses & controls for "upper" power are now in electronics box

Added second battery & bus bar in center console

And the needed switch for the batteries

All the wiring has been replaced with tinned copper. All connections sealed with heat shrink butt end splices with extra adhesive lined heat shrink over the top. Still some wire/cable management to address. Have about a grand in supplies alone on the rewire & upgrade, countless hours. Sadly I may have to sell her as we put an offer in on a house that does not have room to park her. Have to do what's best for the kids' education

Nice skiff. Loks well set up. That one would definitely be really hard to give up.

It's a shame to see so many of my friends selling thier boats these days.

Norm my buddy that gave us a ride to SBI just sold his Maycraft 23 CC.

Here you can see it behind Andy:

Great boat, we caught a lot of fish off it. I'm not even going to tell you what he sold it for, it makes me ill, I should of just bought it myself, but I don't have room for it.

Have you considered doing some mothership trips with your skiff. That boat could take a few yaks and then babysiit them at Catalina No problem.

Yep, thought a LOT about it. I need more time on the water with it to build up the confidence in it's capabilities & establish the range I can get with 25 gallons. Was thinking about getting a mini-x or two for that purpose. Also, also, wanted to use it for support for those looking to paddle the crossing.

I just can't justify paying to store it somewhere.
