Mission Bay

Fished Mission Bay a lot over the last week. Also fished the Mission Bay Classic! I’ve caught so many short spotties and even my first legal Halibut over the last week.

H2O 58*-60*
Current light
Low to no wind
Clear to lightly over-casted

40+ spotties
2 calico
One silver fish with some gnarly teeth that put up a nice fight.

Here are a few pictures.

I'll give a definite that the silver fish with two fangs was a short-fin corvina.

Silver fish

It was probably 14” and put up a nice fight. I would catch those all day if I had the chance. I will definitely be returning to mission bay.
