Wow - I really need to get up there. Maybe tow the travel trailer up and be super comfy.
Now if they would just give me more than a few weeks a year to do all these awesome trips...

Sorry about your dad. Sounds like you are at peace with it though.

Trip looked awesome. I always want to do a fishing trip to the sierras but get to side tracked with climbing and only hit Owen's and some other small creeks for a little fly action.

One day I will do the full shabang like this.

Good job

Thanks for the share and for the well told story. Sorry about your dad, and I'm glad you had such a great trip. I'm going to file this one away under "places the wife won't mind going that give me the opportunity to sneak off and fish for a while"

Thanks

Thanks for all the kind words Guys...Dad Lived a good long life...he died at 90 years old in Las Vegas doing what he liked.
He was a L.A.F.D. retiree and after we buried him we went to his last firehouse where they honored him with a flag raising and a bell service...It was really nice of the guys at the firehouse to take the time to do this for our family.

The neighborhood kids had fun eating the crawdads the other night...
