Hey guys... not to be a party pooper - I found this by accident trying to find the legal length for a Cabezon...
DFG site says Cabezon fishery is closed until April 1 for all boat-based anglers. Does that include us? I'm guessing not, since you were talking with DFG/DFW on the beach. http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/mapregs4.asp#cabezon Keeper length is 15" for all you Cabezon lurkers out there.
