I sent a few of my pics using the zman paddlerz to their email yesterday and they responded a few hours later saying they're developing baits specifically for our fishery. They also said to let them know what our favorite colors are of other manufacturers baits.

I got mine at Fisherman's access in Brea, but they only have a couple different ones. Same at The Longfin. Seems like online is the best way to buy them.

I'd like to get some zman streaks xl for some larger calicos, or maybe yt too! Probably going to get rootbeer and pearl.

The colors that do great for me are the new penny and the houdini. Maybe a nuclear chicken would be good too and an anchovy color too.

I told them that popular colors for calico bass is usually calico hunter, red calico hunter, toast, holloween, Christmas tree, and sometimes purple or pearl, as well as natural colors for sardine and anchovy.

Dennis Burlason and Ed Howerton who have won the SD Bay Anglers tournament 4 times like to use brown, green, and orange colors. They should know it aint luck when you win it 4 times.

I am going to use the swimmerz for calicos. They are 6 inches long and look good.

They also have grubz that are 9 inches long.
