Hey, all you guys planning on a trip to La Jolla, please note, this post was from 6 years ago, not 5 days ago. I'd hate to see you drive all that way, and do all that prep, because you didn't notice the posting date. I guess it's a late April Fool's joke.

I saw the title, and got all excited thinking that good ol' school posting format was back!
BTW - I was sniffing that very same spot in 70ft yesterday, I was out on my boat. Pretty strong current, kelp pinned down 20-30ft. Current direction kinda weird, more inward towards the shore then downhill. Visibility less than 10, water temp creeping up but I'd say still cold - temp gauge not working, but it didn't fell like it broke 60 yet. It was surprisingly nice there, better than forecasted; the wind kicked up later. I saw that greenish with a shade of brown LJ wsb water color - check on green part, no wsb Cmon pink
