Halibut Jumps My Kayak!?!
This was about a 25#er that decided it wanted to try some trickery at the gaff. Usually a good gut shot on the gaff will subdue the beast... in this case I guess I missed the target. Enjoy! ![]() |

BTW this footage is over a year old so don't anybody get all excited about a halibut bite in LJ. Go check out the OC for the hot flatty bite lol

I just saw the video on utube before this post. What a nice size fish. Crazy, flying flat fish. Good thing you clarified the caught date, cause I had heard the bite was happening. Damn had my hopes up for next trip. See you out there, Chris.
