Easy to change it out. Agree, go with a boat tip as they are less fragile. But keep an eye on it as the spectra can wear a groove. Use the heat-melt adhesive so you can change it out when it does, otherwise you will need to keep clipping it.

Thanks Guys,
went to the fishing shop and dropped off my Rod 6 dollars to repair the tip and 15 for my torium 20 maintance. and some new 65lbs spectra since my old one got beat up. |
