For what it's worth I say SURFLINE. I use it for Kayak, surfing, and wind sometimes for windsurfing.

This is what i started using while i was living in Monterey the last few years. Found it to be pretty damn accurate and it gives you everything from swell size, periods, wind speed direction, tides, temps etc. also for breaks all up and down the california coast. Havent used it much down here yet though.
