damnit... next time Tom. Maybe the uni knot (spectra to swivel) with a half hitch or two would work well.
 . It will not slip... I've been told that if one lossens the drag at boatside, if and when fish takes off again there is less pressure on line thus line breakage is reduced. I like what Billy says......
