Sea Cliff/Arco Island or Rincon Island - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I was there earlier this year and all the kelp around the island was gone.
No bites and I wasn’t seeing much on the fish finder.
Only fish I caught where in the kelp beds south of the island.
Would like to try and get out there early fall to see if that makes a difference.
