Theres no exposed beams its all drywall. Might ne able build a stand to get the yak above the cat a little bit as long as i can make it narrow enough amd stable

I stored PA in a one-car apartment garage on it's side....sort of. I used these big screw hooks to hold it up by the handles on both ends. I mounted them into studs (behind drywall) at a height that the PA would fall under 2 inches if they failed for some reason. Never had an issue for the year and a half I was there.
