I think overall that 10wt is more than enough unless you're specifically targeting those Island Roosters.(you know my opinion on that) If you can get an extra spool with the reel I would really recommend it, that way you can have both Full sinking and floating line depending on what you're doing.

I almost always use a 350 grain shooting head Rio saltwater (warmwater) for everything even fishing from shore, but if you want to throw a popper on you really need floating line......
