Shows how far I'm out of the loop...buoy's gone, kelp's gone, and I don't even know how to post a photo anymore...no biggie, it was a small yellow, and a barely legal calico.

Nice read
for a Sunday morning and a cup of coffee. I've only been fishing LJ for a few months so the no buoys or kelp is the norm for me. Still waiting for my first big one but stories like yours give me inspiration I'm doing thing right and I just need more time on the water.

With the current fish catching reports and 2 years not out fishing, I would say you had a good day out. Congrats on the Yellow, they have been very hard to find for a while.
