I'll keep a lookout for Jamaican national kayak.

What kind of solutions do people have for locking boats to the roof? I want to find a scupper plug u-lock type device.

definitely check craigslist see if any shop buys used kayaks as well. I would say the this cable attached to your rack would be a good solution but my buddy used to do that and he got his whole rack stolen..kayak and all

I run a thick cable & big hardened lock through the scupper holes & attach to the roof rack. (keeps honest people honest)
Better than nothing at all.

I've been using KanuLock for years, and absolutely love it. Worth the money, IMO. The 13-foot version is plenty of length for a kayak.
