I've used Mario at Sportmen's Seafoods near Seaforth, same price at $.75 per pound total fish weight. He will also make some great spicy jerky out of tuna or yellowtail for $1 per pound including cleaning. He recommends the fish be iced down overnight prior to cleaning to get the best yield and clean fillets. I usually clean my own but sometimes my job gets in the way.h
Has anyone used an electric fillet knife? A buddy who fishes for freshwater bass said it makes it easy to slide the knife along the bone structure. |
