I only caught a couple of threshers, and they were all small. Not sure about the parasites being common in T sharks, never heard that.
I've seen these types of parasites on a couple of YTs.

Speaking from past commercial experience most openwater sharks have parasites in the gums and around da bunghole....Don't eat the mouth and bunghole and they eat up just fine.
Good job on the CPR there Adi lil threshers need a second chance.
