Ive heard before a big change in weather, i.e. decent size storm, makes for tough fishing and I assume for a few days thereafter. Maybe 2 or 3 days wait time may bring things back to "normal", whatever that may be. I share your enthusiasm as I launched for the 1st time this past wkend. Good luck
