I have found that the area on the back of their neck to be the most effective place to target usually one paintball there does the trick. When one follows me I will try to shake him off by moving, slapping the water, pulling lines out but when that all fails out comes the marker. I chose the Rap4 T68 due to its size it fits well on a kayak as its small and light and pretty damn accurate.
