Cabrillo 8/10 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Went to Cabrillo with a few friends. Invited one of my buddies who has never kayaked fished before and Andy at OEX hooked him up with a rental. He was lucky enough to pop his kayak and legal halibut cherry all in one trip. It was my second time out here, did some exploration the first time and marked some promising spots. Two weeks later and I was blessed with a legal halibut. Both fish went for 28inches.

I saw you guys in the morning. Looks like you guys have a good time. I only caught one small halibut.
