Here's how I mount my transducer on the back of the lift bar of the PA. I split a T-PVC 1 1/2 joint and put some stainless steel pipe clamp. Then put the eye bolts to hold the bungee in place. The insulator between the pipe is pool noodle. Does a good job to rotate the PVC as a bearing. The transducer is low enough to hit the water and has no drag affect. I tested different length and it's perfect with great accuracy. One thing I gotta do is clean up the wiring and drill thru the kayak to feed the wire into the hull.
