You’ve got to love these end-of-the-year threads…
 This is probably my favorite fish this year - 28.5# halibut that I roped a few hours after loosing a huge halibut at the gaff...  Best part - it was only a couple of days after I posted "halibut landing checklist"...  And I lost that fish 100% by my own mistake…  I pounded the area where the 1st one signed in for quite some time, all frustrated... Then I finally decided to move away... Within 20 minutes, I connected with this lady.
